Nitin is a Partner at Nova Vida Capital. He has more than 20 years' experience successfully delivering complex multi-million dollar projects in the engineering, clean energy and environmental infrastructure industries. He is also the co-founder of a leading vertical B2B SaaS CRM and Workflow Automation solution for sales teams in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Nova Vida Capital, Nitin worked with large organizations such as The World Bank and IL&FS (Infrastructure, Leasing & Financial Services as well as niche engineering and advisory businesses such as Carollo Engineers, SustainAsia, and Spans Envirotech. Nitin has an MBA from INSEAD, an MS from Virginia Tech, and B.Tech from Delhi College of Engineering.

Piyush is the Founding Partner at Nova Vida Capital. He leads all M&A and deal-making efforts to create actionable investment opportunities for affiliated investors. He previously served as a Director at Ti Foods, one of the largest Asian food distribution companies in Canada. Ti Foods was acquired in September 2021 and became Nova Vida Capital's first portfolio company. Before his role at Ti Foods, he was a Director at Samsung Electronics where he managed the TV business for 8 years and led the consumer electronics e-commerce operation for 2 years. Piyush brings over 16 years of experience in managing and building multi-million dollar businesses. He has extensive knowledge of B2B, distribution and e-commerce businesses, and is proficient in sales, marketing and P&L leadership. Piyush is an INSEAD MBA and has lived in 5 countries.
MARIO NIGRO

Mario Nigro is a partner in the M&A, Private Equity & Venture Capital Group of Stikeman Elliott. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financings and complex corporate reorganizations, and general business law. He has worked on a variety of Canadian private equity fund transactions including buyouts, leveraged buyouts, and secondaries. Mario also routinely advises owner operators who are looking at selling their businesses. Mario has significant experience across all industries and has represented some of the leading food, retail, services, technology, and manufacturing businesses in Canada including a leading provider of outsourced office and workplace solutions. He works with a number of fast-growing technology companies through their acquisitions, dispositions, financings and growth capital transactions.
